noisy hd,cpu

What do you all use to not have computer noise be a factor? Do you build or buy cases that kill the noise or do you put it in another room? I don't have the luxury of putting it another room and it's pretty loud right now. It's a PowerMac G4 Quicsilver, a few years old (2-3). Thanks.

I've seen cabinets built for the CPU..... just make sure its ven

I've seen cabinets built for the CPU..... just make sure its ventilated. You could probably build something out of MDF....just match up some ventilation holes on the cabinet with the ones on the computer case....
