Okay, this is my dilemma...I just started running my Pro Tools hook up. Audio works great, but I'm not getting any sound out from MIDI. I've triple checked the connections and I know it's going in because when I hit the keys on my Casio I can see the signal bar raising up and down on PT. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I'm assuming it's a simple problem...it usually is. Thanks.

I've got my Casio running into the Digi001 running into the computer. The signal is making it through because the level meter jumps when I hit the keys, but just no sound...I tried to run an audio cable from the keyboard to the Digi and record an audio track and the audio level meter didn't even move, what's up with that?

Hi,

I'm not a technical wizard by any stretch of the imagination but I'll throw something in here just in case.

I'm using Digital Performer with the DigiOO1 box, and MOTU MicroExpress for midi routing. I just this past week set this up and knew I had everything hooked up correctly but got no sound and no meters. Problem #1 was that on the front of the DIGI box I had the monitor button pushed in and it should have been out. Problem #2 was that I needed to set up Aux tracks in DP3 for each instrument for monitoring purposes. So for example, I have a Triton synth. In DP3, I have a midi track, an Aux track to monitor the sound, which I can now hear, and I set up an audio track for when I record to audio.

HTH,
