Hi all
A while ago there was a discussion about the NS1000 monitors.
I remembered a store in a town nearby that has a couple of Yamaha monitors. This store has kind of a weird owner.
The Yamaha speakers are there in a corner of that store for a very long time, at least twenty years and these are brand new speakers of 20-25 years old.
So today I was it that town and went into that store in order to find out the type of that Yamaha's.
They're NS366's
Does anybody know something more about the NS366?
Bill or anybody?
Peace, Han

My NS-200Ma's only get one hit on google, and it's the guy I bought them from in Colorado.
The reason for this is that they were speakers sold in Japan to GI's a while back, I believe.
My advice to you is to email Yamaha from their (somewhat buried) customer service link at yamaha.com. I have had great success with them, to my surprise. They take a week or two to get back to you, but they get always come back with info as well as faxes of out-of print repair manuals and docs if they have them.
Try it!

The NS-200MA is a 3 way with 10" carbon fiber impegnated woofer with a poly coated cloth surround and a cast aluminum frame. ;)
The pair I saw was in good condition at 299.00 for the pair, and marked as sold on the used gear site, sorry!
Hope this helps,

Rick-
He wanted info on the "NS-366", whatever that is at this point! However...
You have described my 200Ma's! The exact ones in my basement. I bought them about a month and a half ago. I got the guy at Oaktree down to $279 cause they weren't a matched pair.
They are *beautiful* things on many levels. AND you got to see pix of them. ;)

I would love to see your NS-200MA's, and hear them. Is it a beryllium tweeter? Sure looks like one in the photo I saw. It would have a screen cover, and the dome is iridescent looking.--Rick

Han,
Are you sure you have the right model number?
None of my search engines found anything other then the road for a cemetary somewhere.
