Hi, i'm thinking of buying a Yamaha Rydeen drumset, for recording purpouses but I wanted to see if it's a good deal to buy one or wait like 3 months or so and buy a Yamaha Stage Custom instead, what do you think?
I would recommend saving up, and during the time it takes to save reading lots about drum tuning, head choices, stick choices, and experimenting with that. If you can tune a stage custom kit properly they can compete with a lot of higher grade kits.
