I think you need a sczii connector for that. If I remember correctly. My brother has the same standalone recorder. It's cool but a pain to use. You should be able to export back up files of your tracks to a cd. I don't know if these can be read on your computer however.

I had a vs-24something for a while, came with a USB port for doing backups, but however you get the files to your computer, the end result was the same IIRC: Roland used a proprietary file format and there was no conversion utility available. So either you have to learn how to use a hex editor, because it was some variation on a wav file where you could possibly edit the headers if you knew what you were doing, or you export the files one at a time (or two, I suppose if you do it in stereo and route L and R to different tracks) in real time, through a different audio interface into your computer, which is silly because you're now running things through a second set of preamps. Those machines are designed to be standalone audio record/editing/mixing units, and if you want to work on a computer, they're not the right tool. If you learn how to use them and get used to the interface and tiny screen, they do an ok job all by themselves. Good enough to get your feet wet anyway.

Apparently someone has created a hack so that Reaper can read VS files so you can just export the backup to computer and take it from there. Might work for you.
