looking for a good 'dual' parametric eq with at least 4 bands (6 would be nice) and HP+LP filters. Need somthing for tracking and post. $1500 budget
I'm considering: Ashly PQX-572 (not sure if it as the HP+LP Filters or not)
Ashly 2.24PS (physical controls would be nice...)
any other ideas?

Why not two channels of those new Summit Audio FEQ-50 EQ's? You could get two of those for $1500, and they are very nice units.
It's going to be hard getting much of anything that's high quali
It's going to be hard getting much of anything that's high quality in that price range....that's only $750/channel. Are you able to afford a stereo/dual mono unit, i.e. like the Great River EQ2NV. It's almost double your budget, but it's one of those 'lifetime keeper' types of pieces. It's a 4 band with a HPF. Either that or use your whole budget for a mono unit and use the EQ on the most important sources (i.e. kick, bass, mono acoustic, vocals, etc).
