Hi guys.
Yeah it's me and that means problems.
I don't know if it's me or what it seems like my Emu 1212m running Cubase vst 4.0, all together we're having problems.

Every single day i turn on my pc ready to lay down some ideas to sounds Cubase don't seems to work or around Emu don't want to work.

do you know if i should change Cubase for something newer?
are they compatible at least?

i'm thinking to exchange it against a MOTU 828 mrk II

Thank you for listenning to a frustrated man.

Hey thanx for reading.
My problems are the followings:
I can't change my sample rate at Emu because cubase start giving me problems. i use it only at 48.4 hz.(Emu is able to run to 192 hz.)

when i set the rate at 48.4 at emu, cubase can't record. the enable click don't change.

what else???? some times i can't hear what i did recorded.

What you think it is??

The way you change sample rate from 44.1/48 to 96 or 192 is to select and use a PatchMix session with that sample rate and then modify it as needed. Then save it as a unique named session.

You should be able to change the sample rate in Cubasis (which is what comes with the 1212M) to 96K or 192K and then an error message comes up telling you that the sample rate in PatchMix does not match and then will open up PatchMix and wait for you to select a 96K 192K session file. That should be it.
