I have professional skills in music as musician/songwriter/producer/arranger/audio engineer as well as hi-tech skills in electrical and semiconductor engineering. I am committed to being a life long student of all things audio.

Basicly, I'm just a recording hack who was successful enough to grow from a 4-track Tascam 244 portastudio while in high school into a 24-track 2" public commericial studio. I sold off my studio last summer after 15-years with still no Grammy yet burned out on running and dealing with a public studio. I now pursue private freelance or contract oriented projects including audio sweetening, budget mastering and every now and then taking the challange and providing the charity of turd polishing from hacks and wankers. I continue with my personal songwriting, but also do some producing and artist development in songwritting/arranging. I also do some private training/education and basic audio engineering workshops for a few local music stores.

YIKES! AG, I'm looking but can't find it either. I wonder if a sent PM message that get's returned as a reply and then gets' deleted also deletes the other parties reply. This seems to have happened. I feel sick if I binned it, because I just cleaned out old PM's and your most excellent bio was in there! :confused:

I have certainly appreciated and respected your advice and opionions. Thanks ! A while back I asked a question about gear and you told me I needed to fix my room. That comment stopped me dead in my tracks. After some testing and experimentation I discovered that you were spot on.

Gaff, you're a much valued resource here in these parts, and I take comfort in knowing that you'll be here when I have a question!
