The Alesis HD24 is a good box. It's 24 tracks which may be overkill. Some have reported they don't handle vibration very well. I've never had any problems with my 2. I wouldn't place them close to a sub.

You could multitrack your performances with the extra tracks if you wanted to.

Don't want to chase you away, but I think you need to look for keyboard forum or a DJ forum. The primary topics around here are are getting sounds onto the disk. Your primary concern is getting them off in real time.

AudioGeezer - We were hoping to get something a bit more compact and cheaper than the HD24. It is also a bit overkill for what we need at the moment but thanks for the suggestion.
