Hello all and I hope I'm in the right place for this question. I just recently purchased a JBL pa sysytem that consist of 2 subs and 2 tops but I do not know the best way to wire this system so I figured Id come ask the pros. Ive never wired up 2 passive subs before with my dj rig and I don't want to screw anything up.
I have 2 JBL MRX 515s and 2 JBL MRX 518s they will be used in a mobile dj rig for wedding events. I do not know how configure this system properly here are the amps I have along with a crossover if needed::
qsc gx5/crown xls 802/crown ce2020/crown microtech 1200/crest audio CD2000
yorkville elite ep400 crossover
this will be plugged into a Numark dm1200 rack mount mixer.
Thanks for any help in configuring this everytime I read the manual from JBL I get a headache

You can patch it all up and try it to see how bad it sounds. I think the Driverack is over-the-top for what you want to do. You need a simple active crossover like the old C-Audio boxes, but maybe you can get one of the ART units for a reasonable cost in your part of the world.
I would patch it up and try it with what you have already, then at least you know what you have to improve on.
