Hi there Deusx,
I originally thought your question was about a eq for your recording Daw but this [[url=http://[/URL]="http://www.ultimate…"]dunlop MXR EQ[/]="http://www.ultimate…"]dunlop MXR EQ[/] is a guitar pedal. So after I looked at the V amp 2 I see that you more then likely line in right off the vamp and you don't like the tone compared to if its played through an amp. I have had that experience as my GNX-4 dose not sound the same at the PC as it dose at the amp.
What I do is i stick a VST EQ fx on that track for recording and take the digital sharpness out. Now if i just want to play through the PC and out the stereo, I turn on the bass boost in control panel or at my audio card preferences.

Like AudioGaff said, an EQ is always a plus,
hope this helps
Brad

A Pedal Equalizer, is just that, an Effects Pedal that is an Equalizer instead of a Phase or Distortion effect, etc. I'm sure it will work fine for live situations and recording situations, but when recording you may (or may not) want to add some additional EQ to make your guitar part sit in the mix better, or just to make a change to the overall sound of the guitar. With the pedal I'd say your pretty much limited to just using it on guitar and maybe bass. Although, you might like the sound of a mic running through it on vocal parts. Who knows? As AudioGaff said, Try it and find out, that is what recording is all about (clever rhyme, gaff).

ok then im gonna order that eq.
another thing i want to ask is about my sound interface konnekt 8 power supply . the information given about is this
" 12V DC, Adapter for 90 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz (auto select) " appliances run here in Pakistan at 220v. whether i need a voltage converter or not i am not sure.
