I have a question.. I have recorded my new album in the key of E.. Is there a way to make the guitar and other instruments sound like they were tuned to F.. I have tried using the pitch shift.. But when I play it back, It sounds muddy and far away.. I really don't want to re-record the whole album again..
Thanks..

If you don't mind the whole album being sped up by 1.0594630943592952645618252949463, and have some of the >10kHz regions butchered somewhat, you could try speeding up the entire recording by that ratio above.
Stretching audio usually yields three options: Preserve pitch, preserve tempo, preserve neither. Pick that last one.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do if it was all acoustic instruments (with MIDI this is quite easy). The best pitch correction plug-in I've used is Wave Mechanics' Pitch Doctor, but even with this I don't think you'll be satisfied with the outcome. There's really nothing good enough to "correct" multitimbral material.
