Eh...only ones I've ever played through were broken. I use the JBL Eons. A pair of 10" Eons can work really well (unless you need thundering bass) and, most importantly when you get old (like me!)...THEY'RE LIGHT!

Well I planned to use it for doing live shows and monitoring. This is probably the easiest way next to lugging an "over-sized" amp & speaker setup.

Yeah, I hear you. A keyboard amp or powered monitor is the way to go.

I'm just not a fan of the "B" stuff. I'd recommend the JBL Eon, the Barbetta (like Uncle Bob recommended), Motion Sound or Yamaha has a new small powered monitor.
