Can anyone provide some concrete info on controlling my XT20s' transport from Cubase SX. I use to use this feature when I had version 3.7 and Win 98SE. I need just the sync settings. Thanks

Thanks Opus, my audio card is a 24bit Echo Layla. I don't have a BRC, I'm using a MOTU MTP A/V w/ the Adat connected to it's "adat sync out" connection. I do see some sort of activity when the "sync" button on Cubase is activated, but I can't control anything. It's wierd. I've tried to obtain any viable info reguarding this but, everywhere I've searched, the info is either old (pertaining to the VST versions) or does'nt give anything concrete. I don't see why Cubase would'nt support this feature. They did good w/ their earlier versions ( sync that is ). Maybe I'll give them or MOTU a call if all else fails.

If you have the BRC simply send MYC to the BRC from a MIDI output...tell Cubase to output MTC to the desired MIDI output port.
