I taped a local band and only used 1 1/4 inch cable out the back of the sdb thinking it was a headphone mono feed. It was only the right side of the recording no sound out of the left speaker. Is there a way to split it to both the left and right side using a splitter y cable or way to do it in Audacity after I load it into my itunes library?

So, you need dual channel MONO (sometimes erroniously refered to as STEREO just because it's comming through 2 speakers) You just need to copy right channel and paste it into left channel. THEN... you stick on a dab of very short plate reverb abieance to add some random phase "verb" to create a little stereo feel to fix your accidental abortion and make them think it's a reel baby.
"Y" cables? Because they are there.

Hopefully all the information is available on the right side only.....though I doubt it. Your best bet is to get the proper cable and redo your project.
If all of the recording IS on the right side only, make it a mono recording.
