I just purchased Reaktor 3.0(very cool)When I loaded it onto the PC it gave me the option to load all the Direct X files(which were a good chunk of space). Since I use it with Cubase I only wanted the VST files...So that's what I did.
Could I have any future problems or conflicts since I did not load the Direct X files?

If the program offers both VST and Direct X then use whatever you desire...either one is fine. Direct X is more of a "direct" connect to the code which allows faster access to the OS and the program to interact with each other. VST is Steinberg's protocol so that's why it's ok with Cubase. It works with the "grain" so to speak. You did fine Munkee!! Keep up the good work and excellent questions!!
