It sounds like you have some type of ground loop problem between your computer and interface with your monitor amplifier and speakers? You may want to try and lift the ground on the AC cord to your interface unit or the amplifier? BUT BEWARE OF SHOCK HAZARD! To eliminate ground loops one must usually lift or disconnect a ground wire that is causing multiple paths to ground. If your interface, amplifier or PC don't have a grounded AC plug (3 connectors), just try flipping it in the outlet upside down, unless it has a larger phased electrode which cannot be inverted?

But.... check your power outlets, it's amazing how many can be wired backwards... even in brand new homes. Get a continuity tester from Home Depot (5-10 bucks), don't be 'inserting' plugs in backwards like Remy suggested, also, don't be disconnecting grounds unless you know what you are doing!! Yeah, OUCH; now i'm DEAD !*!!^#$@!!

I tried turning the plug upside down with no luck. I plugged another surge protector into the outlet and mixed up the plugs and finally got results.

I put the two plugs from both of the monitors on a seperate surge from the same outlet and all the buzzing went away.

hi I think if I lived over there I'd buy a 1000va mains isolator tranny and run all my audio kit off that. It is a wonder there are so many of you left! You cannot be so cavelier with 230volts.
