Hi all,
I am currently interning at a studio part time and I am planning on doing music fulltime. I'm going to quit my current day job and try for at least 1 year. I would like to call myself a music producer. I do have a small studio (at home) and I would like to take some work professionally.
Where do you think I should go? to NY or LA? and why?

Don't go if you don't have a job lined up, or a decent bankroll for at least 6 months, cost of living is high in both locations.
Go to your local newstand or library to look at newspapers from that area to get a clue what the rents are like.
Nothing sadder than a musician selling his gear to pay rent.
