so i went with the Tascam us122 for my laptop audio needs. for now it should be enough. now i am getting conflicting stories on external storage. i use my laptop for video capture and editing as well as location audio recording. should i go with a usb 2.0 drive or firewire? if i get the firewire i will have to get a firewire card because i only have one port which i use for video capture. i know i will be sharing a lot of resources so i am not sure which way to go.
