whats the best way to clock theses devices together for Pro Tools,ie, which should be master also bearing in mind that i want to use the ADAT edit for trnsferring audio i/out as well.

While waiting for the answer to turn up ...why not list all the digital i/o gear in your set up...With what youi have so far, it looks like you could do with a 'house' word clock' - one quality, dedicated box that pumps out w/c to everything.. £500 might do it. This would 'tighten up' the SOUND of all audio running through your gear and bring higher highs and lower lows.. The improvement on an 888 was stunning I found when I added house W/C to my studio.....it made a scrachy acc gtr sound rich, warm & expencive sounding....
A Lucid GenX6 is might be just the ticket...
