I'm sure my AKG microphone is set up properly, but when I click record no vocals show up in the audio track in Cubase le. Everything is connected through my INSPIRE 1394 with a firewire connection.

first things first cubase le stinks.I used it with my firepod, and had issues. you can spend a few bucks and upgrade to actual, they have support, and patches for issues. Steinberg dosent mess with Le since it is free with whatever you bought (you cant even buy cubase Le). Just me venting my disgust for this piece of software. Steinberg makes really good stuff, but this one is stripped more than Jenna Jameson. I really like Nuendo, I dont see many people on here that use it or say anything either way about it. Hope this helps you out a bit.

It simply shows that YOU are uninformed.
Cubase LE (limited edition) is just that, and for free, is a good learning tool to see if you want or need to upgrade to something more robust.

Hey Jeremy what this guy is saying is that your opinion is 100% pointless in regards to this thread. If you're going to get on here and just give your opinion about the product then save yourself some time and don't. When people get on here and ask "Hey is Cubase le worth a shit" then you can get on and talk about it being a turd. SLICFIC just download the manual and make sure you have everything hooked up ok, also check to make sure your phantom power is on, sometimes the little things get looked over.
