Hey Ro'ers, it's been a very long time since I have been on the site, but my question is pretty simple: "What can I do to make my mixes better?" I am using PT 7, and I don't mix at loud volumes, just at an easy listening level, so that I can still carry on a conversation if I need to. I usually spend about two hours total(over a period of days)on my mixes, because I listen to them on everything from the MP3 player, the PS3, the house stereo, etc; and I keep going back to the mix because I hear different things on each place I listen to the mix. My final authority no matter what is my car, because most people listen to music in their cars, so if my mixes don't sound good in there then I keep going until they do. If you all would like please check out some of my tracks at http://www.myspace.com/battlegroundrecordz and give me some constructive criticism on what I could do to make my mixes better. Any positive or negative criticism would be greatly appreciated because I just want to make myself better at what I do. Oh yeah, I never really critique my mixes on my studio speakers once I get them recorded because everything sounds good on those. Thanks a lot.

Sincerely,

BigTrey
