logic is the bomb, a bit buggy now, but i don't care. the sky and your imagination is the limit it can do about anything you will ever need, midi and audio... learn it, i use it since about 5-6 years and still discover something about it!!! some people don't like it as it is very, very complex and not that quick to get your head around it, but i think it's well worth learning it. and i love the GUI it's simly logic, main functions are where they are supposed to be, not like in damn cubase where you need a map to navigate.

read the mauals and go to http://www.macaudioguy.com and cruze along there are some usefull links to be found.

Sometimes i think about swiching to Logic, especially now that it is integrated with Final Cut, Soundtracks and other mac app. However, when I think it cost $1000 I decide to stay with Digital performer as 1K will buy me a new mic, a new pre, etc. maybe eventually as i get more into film I will have to take the plunge, but for now I will stay with DP-
by the way, anyone knows if logic has a special price for crossgrade? I have never read or seen anything to that effect.

hey xavier how ya doing?
i've gotten a dual g5 2.5 and am running my mates digital performer 4.0! a bit different from cubase but there is a stupid thing i can't make! why can't i name audio tracks? it's driving me nuts! i import my waves to them and only can rename takes!
other thing! i've downloaded from antares site, autotune "mas" and have installed it but it doesn't appears on my plugin list, yet it is on the mas folder with the rest that came with dp!
can you or anyone help me here?
