I got ahold of an old British Industries Co. Venturi model speaker. Does anyone know anything about this company or specific speaker. It doesn't seem like it's actually british as the company's in new york and the speaker says made in USA. So anyone know anything about this?

BIC made speakers and turntables. BIC Venturi's were a very popular speaker in the 70's. I actually had a pair of them until the foam surrounds disintegrated ... so I replaced the woofers ... then the tweeters failed ... so I replaced them with some 50 watt Foster tweets .. (can you say "bright"?).
