Ya know, the DBXs and the Monitors would be a good deal at $250.
I have a DOD headphone amp, and although it works is rather noisy.
The Nady Drum mics...I don't know.
Good thing about them is you don't need to worry about your drummer beating them up, or leaving them set up somewhere and forget them....if they get stolen or end up in the trash...it's no problem.

Dave what are some of the things that it will never be able to do?

Can you explain more about that naughty square wave?

BRH, I feel similar to you in that DBX's are the meat of this deal, and the monitors add to that. To add, I don't have any of my own monitors yet. (Some of you may argure that the BER&*Y*&E inger is a downgrade.) The headphone amp and drum mics are just icing on the budget cake.

A "good deal" is when you get something you really need at or below a fair price. The DBX strips are $200 new, so I guess you ask yourself how much you need them and the other gear. bery monitors? I absolutely would not want them. You say you have no monitors, so why don't you take the $250.00 and buy a good set of monitors? Something that will be a permanent addition to your gear rather than buy preamps you can't really listen to.
Are you doing multiple tracking where a headphone amp is truly useful? If you were to buy one would that unit be your choice?

Only you can decide value as one mans treasure is anothers trash, as is all too evident on bulky disposal day.
