I just got a pair of the Studio Projects C4's and to me, using one C4 on my voice sounds so much better than my C1. I sing hard rock, and the C1 was sounding too "tinny" on the high-endand thin bodied. Granted, I'm only using a GT brick preamp into an MBox, but swapping to a C4 makes a hell of a difference. Anyone else rather use these little guys over larger condensers to record louder and higher ranged vocalists? I think I'm going to sell my C1.

man, that sounds outrageous. To be honest, I'd never consider using a C4 for what you're describing, but it's cool you've gotten a great sound out of it. Sounds like you've hit on some great combination of your voice and what that mic is good at picking up. For the price, too.....how can you beat it? 8-)
