Hey everyone,

I've just started setting up my first home "studio" (laughable to even call it that really!) I've got some basic gear, and just need to buy a mic or two now.

I came across a thread through google about the best studio mic for under $250. Basically the original poster was a prick. Just wanted to say to everyone who posted in that thread (I can't post in it as it's archived now) thanks very much for all the advice you gave! The OP may not have been grateful, but it's definitely helped me out regarding my upcoming mic purchases!

So yea, seems like a great forum, very cool and knowledgable people around, so ta very much! I'll not post too much as I haven't got anything to contribute, I'll probably just lurk for a while, then start chipping in when I have something worthwhile to say!

Anyway yea, kinda of an introduction and a cheers for the advice so far haha.
