I am looking to buy a good used 2-bus EQ. That I can use coming out of the DAW and before going into wavelab. I am looking to spend aorund $1500 Any recommendations. I am using a Peavy VCL-2 for my compressor--for now.

You're not going to find too much in the "New" column... Speck
You're not going to find too much in the "New" column... Speck is nice for the $$$ - You could get a stereo set for less than that.
The Orban 642B (black-face model with the factory 5532's) is one of my faves for under $1000 using the e-bay route. Saw one up there recently for around $400, but you've got to jump on them.
Perhaps a used Red2 (Focusrite)... Not exactly "pure" but a nice "warm" sound (which might be exactly what you're after).
Just thoughts... More later I'm sure...
