hi guys, i've been considering the practical things in the studio i'm setting up, and have come to wonder about how to get (at least 2) headphone mixes out of my monitor controller (which may be a PreSonus central station or a Crane Song avocet). i have tried, but cannot figure out if it's possible to send the 2 seperate mixes through the 2 seperate headphone outs into 2 seperate headphone junction boxes. does anyone know if this is possible?

thanks!

the monitor controller will be hooked up to an apogee ad16x, recieveing digital through from pro tools HD. i think that only allows me 2 channels of digital through, so i was wondering if i could create 2 mono mixes, use one in the control room and for headphone junction 1 and another for headphone junction 2. basically i'm just looking for a cheap way to get seperate headphone mixes with only 2 channels of D/A and without a console, but i'm not sure if it's possible to do with the monitor controllers i'm considering.

All things are possible
BUT
when you say seperate headphone mixes
this will mean a seperate set of gear and a seperate send so that the mix can be different.

If you just want the same signal to go to two different places then that's much easier and may only require a y cord ... perhaps an additional HP amp.
