Need help on ancient Editing Software

I am talking about installing the hardware(Audiomedia II card) plus SDII on a PowerPC 8100/110 (not PCI bus ones) running OS 7.6

Since I bought it X handed and it came with very little documentation and I have no experience installing anything on a old mac. .

1)Is the combination going to work? I know those cards cannot run on "newer" macs

2)Do I need to install some sort of drivers for the card? or just SDII?
coz I decompressed my copy of SDII into the harddish but it said hardware not found. It would be good if someone can point out the correct installation procedure for everything.

can't you get forward to PCI AMIII and 8.6/9.1

I think you would have better success

You will need the right DAE extension to go with your version of SDII. Not sure if DIGI still keeps downloads but they might.If you tell us all the Soundesigner version you have someone here may be able to email you the driver you need, Dave Fries
