Ive got a preamplifier witha kind off mono mic input. I intend to use it with my mic which uses XLR out connectors. There are 3 output wires on my mic and 2 input wires on the preamp. How can i go about it and creat a balanced signal.

it is likely this pre-amp will not work with a phantom mic so I hope we are talking about a dynamic mic.
Get a normal (hah normal) XLR female to 1/4 inch phono lead ... where the pin 3 is grounded at the phono

don't say mono or stereo as in truth it is a TS ( tip sleeve) or a TRS (tip,ring,sleeve) connector.
