id work with mic placement, pointed more toward the bridge, as its a bit "boomy". did you have brand new strings on the guitar? new strings are a must. id also experiment with stereo miking and some panning so the guitar is fighting the vocal less. also some ambience. its a bit plain, some delays and reverb can add some interest, especially if they are automated up and down in level at appropriate times. good mixes move constantly, like a spotlight on stage, it focus's on something for a moment, then moves on to the next thing. it can be subtle, like salt on food, too much is gross, but none at all can be bland.

As PC said.. too loud. You need to slope the EQ to cut low midrange and midrange and work in a tiny bit of very low end ...could be sub (very very little) on the guitar. Vocal still has too much low end too. In a nutshell as analogy, the mix needs to sound "smaller" in size rather than the bigger presence across the whole stereo spectrum as it is now.

Try to find a LUFS metering plugin. Most healthy levels for CD goes from -12 to -8db LUFS
Also, you have a groundloop kind of noise under this.. I'd check to find where it came from..
