Hey everyone. I'm getting ready to download the Cubase 5 trial version, and to operate it I'm going to have to update my usb dongle with the newest licence. Does anyone know if I'll still be able to operate sx2 with that same dongle once it's been updated?

I think you'll need to download the latest SyncroSoft eLicenser and it will use that.
Steinberg should have all the info on how to get the trial version to run and if your SX has a license key on the dongle that's registered and valid it will read that and add it to the eLicenser software....
You can check and make sure your current registered license for SX is on your "My Steinberg".....
each version it a separate license...
