Question About Mixing

Hello,

I recently purchased a Zoom MRS 802B 8-track digital recorder. Although, I have studied the user manuel mixing the tracks is a tricky thing for a beginner.

I know that mixing is an art form and respect those that are able to do it. Does anyone know where I can get good information on the basics and theory of mixing? I don't know if there is a website (possibly on here) that I can go to or not. Preferably a free site because I blew all my clams on my recorder!

just depends on what you want out of ur song the most.

I used to have the little brother to that recording device. I strongly recommend taking the tracks and mixing them on your computer using anything from the freeware Audacity, on up to some expensive software. Whatever you can afford.
