yes i also use peak
u can use vst's and AU-plugins in this program.. so load up a limiter or a compressor.
u can also try to use the command 'change gain' or 'normalize'
but i dont recommend using normalize untill the end.. that is, after you have done all eq-ing, compressions and stuff. 'normalize' also dithers the sound, and i dont believe the dithering is good in bias peak.. so use 'change gain' if you still wanna keep it unnoisy and wanna work further with the audio

I tried the vst limiter and it didn't sound too good to my ears- the sqwz compresor and the eq were nice- thanks for the normalizing tip!

maintiger, youre probably talking about the vst-plugins that come with Peak. yah they're MDA-plugins and some of 'm sound good. most sound a little off. i dunno
the sqeeuz sounds pretty good!anyway, you gotta use other vst's than MDA cuz theyre not exactly what i'd call goodsounding indeed!

i use peak 4 as well, yeah, some mda or good some are crap, i use TC bundle as well, the limiter will squeze pretty much the hell out of your stuff, also i am a big fan of the digitalfishphones bundle specially the compressor (know as AU!!) also smartelectronix make some good free stuff... (they have a decent multiband compressor for example...)
and obviously waves... if you want to pay a lot, but get some serious plugs...

yeah i really love them, not essentially 'clean' but that's what i like i love there sonic character!! THEY HAVE SOME SOUL...
also check out smartelectronix mdsp plugs there are m/s plugs, can't say much yet, but i am trying them out right now. so i will hear.
i like the smartelectronix multiband, if used subtle... too
but i guess you know how to apply.....
