Logic Lover, are you talking about the Millennium G550 Dual-DVI? Would this be a good choice? Or the 450 have the least effect on a DAW. I'm also looking at changing up my current G3(visiontek) for a dual head. Whats the Gold matrox? Didn't see that on their site.

RME is now recommending Matrox's Parhelia (triple head) - musta got their drivers straightened out, there were some complaints several months back. I haven't tried this yet, so take it for what it's worth - RME, however, tends not to recommend things that don't work... Steve

The "ati radeon" everbody´s talking about, is that a manufacturer brand or a chipset description?

Have been searching for a decent video card, but there are many ones with the sub-title "ati radeon", which are the best? ASUS? Hercules? What?

ATI is a brand. Back in the day, I'd use whatever was available (lack of knowledge). I also encountered numerous problems too. Ever since I started using ATI cards, I have'nt had the rash of problems I had before. IMO, of course I'm not saying that the (ATI brand) video cards are the saving grace, but it sure felt good diagnosing my setup knowing the video (card) was eliminated. This is my 3rd card, and they're very reliable.
