this weekend we test 12 mics.
we recorded:
vocals
saxophon
shaker
preamp: langevin dvc
a/d: WavesL2
i wanna make a "blindtest", so the files just named "vox1, vox2, vox...".
all files are recorded 24bit/44.1 without any manipulation, the levels are somethimes a bit different. for a good compare please balance the levels of the files.
it would be nice, if you can send my for each file you result. give points between 1 & 10, 1 for really bad, 10 for fantastic.
the email is:
at the end of november i will write the names of the mic's & the result on my page.
if someone like a mic a lot & will buy it before end of november, i send him the mic-name of his prefered mic.
the files can be downloaded at:
http://biobonsai.com/echochamber/microphones/
its around 120mb! sorry, but i think, mp3 are not good enough for a mic-test.
if you wanna be sure, that i don't change the mic/number later to manipulate, i can send a list now to someone like fletcher or george massenburg...if the say o.k. to this.
have a nice time
:)
