I sent you a PM regarding this earlier. Just to add, live albums by Peter Frampton and Little Feat, and so many more, were a huge influence on a lot of the "elders" around here. Rays' recordings were CLEAN and represented the artists in their best possible form. You don't really see many live recordings on the market like you used to. This is because a lot of the performers can't pull it off, and there aren't many engineers who can, either. Seat-of-the-pants, mixing-on-the-fly, so to speak. Ray was a rare one, indeed.
