HI there. Ive recently been reading up on Surround sound 5.1, and DVD authoring.
Im wanting to know what DVD Authoring software you recommend.
Basically I am wanting to produce a DVD for 5.1 audio. I won't really be importing video. But may do in the future. Ive been reading about DVD-A, but most of the info is quite a few years old. Im gathering that DVD-A never really took off, so I'm not really interested, especially as you need a dedicated player.
The software will have to be able to import AC-3 files - 24bit/96khz (that I have written, mixed and mastered in Cakewalk Sonar 6 Producer). Then obviously make menus etc, and finally burn to DVD.
Thankyou

Sony's DVD Architect is a grand peice software...can do DVD-A I believe, also accepts AC-3 and multiple audio (for different languages etc).
I second the DVD - Architect solution. Great piece of software.
I second the DVD - Architect solution. Great piece of software. Not as powerful as Wavelab, but certainly more user friendly and more affordable. If Wavelab is within your budget, the DVD audio authoring functions for 6.0 are outstanding. Just my 2 sheckles.
