Hey mofros, I got a question for you believe it or not...
here's my situation - I've got a new DAW running Windows 2000 Professional on the OS drive (haven't added an audio drive yet). I want to install my old SCSI audio drive from my previous system, but that old system was running Windows 98 SE.
is it possible to go ahead and install the Win 98 drive 'as is' into the new Win 2k DAW, or should I just upgrade the OS on the old system first from Win 98 to 2k before even sticking it in. ?

Win2k sees FAT32 formatted drives so you can simply add it in with no problems..it's the other way around that you will have problems..if you went from an NTFS formatted drive and tried to put it into a 98 System..wouldnt see it..
Otherwise you're fine..
Enjoy!
