Hi Opus,

I have just read your PC optimization doc for win98 as I'm having troubles getting my US428 to work on my machine without it hanging, crashing or broken/stuttering playback.

Just a question regarding the IRQ's... I had to get a new PCI USB card for my PC to get the US428 to even be seen by the PC as the onboard USB didn't work.

Now in my IRQ list that controller is at IRQ5. There is also "IRQ Holder for PCI steering" listed on IRQ 5.

That entry is also listed for a few other IRQs too so I was wondering if that was a problem or OK?

I'm thinking I might need to do a clean re-install of win98(SE) and see if that fixes it...

I have a PIII 500 with 384M ram using N-track which should be fine...
