I'm running N-track to kind of get a feel for the whole recording vibe. The biggest problem I have run into is an uneven metronome. This isn't a pride thing where I think I keep better time than a metronome. I dont think it is a resource problem I'm running an AMD64 3000+ with 512 RAM. Of course I'm using the utmost in audio technology with my onbord sound but still I just want the damn metronome to work. I have tryed playing with the buffers (not really sure what buffers do exactly, but there were presets for high and low buffering so I used those) closing all running programs, nothing seems to work. Here is what happens in 4/4 (it happens in all time signatures) it will hit 1, 2, and 3 pretty solid but 4 it seems to drag ass and when it gets back to 1 of the next measure it has to play catch up so there is a significant and noticable skip in tempo. It is probably loosing tempo the whole measure it just becomes and explosion of unevenness between 4 and 1 of the next measure. Here is my question, has anyone run into this, and if so do you have any ideas on how to fix it?
