Well, just like usual in the wonderful world of PC technology, by the time a piece of hardware hits the store shelves, it's already obsolete.
The ASUS P4T533 is already being drooled about, with the new PC4200 32-bit-wide rambus memory and they're rumored to even gonna include a stick of memory with each mobo.

But of course technology, being so kind to us that it is, eventually will make the latest and greatest the outdated and worst!
I personally think that getting a RAID controller card is better than having one built on board. Dont know why but to me it probably gets a faster boot up if the RAID isnt part of the BIOS and so forth!
