I'm having trouble with the I/O plugin Logic.
My interface is a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 with Mix Control.
My plan was to run a track into an ART Voice Channel out of the output from the Pro 40 into the ART and then back into Pro 40.
I was trying to use the I/O plugin with no results.
After a looking at a few YouTube videos I watched one guy do what I wanted to do but only he was using Logic 9 but he was using a Pro 40 BUT he was using the Mix Control to route the signal. Every other video I have seen on re-amping or running hardware into your DAW using the Pro 40 (or any other Focusrite Saffire product) never mention this. Only that one
So, I go back to the recording room and proceeded to:
-came out of output 3 of the Pro 40 into the ART
-came out of the out on the ART into input 3
-set output 3 on the Mix Control to DAW 3
-created a new audio track
-and everything worked
So what is up with the I/O plug in?

I pretty sure, it's a mix control issue. For each physical output, you need to assign a source. Either directly or within a mix.
The output 3 of the daw needs to be routed by mix control to the physical output 3..

I'm pretty sure, it's a mix control issue. For each physical output, you need to assign a source. Either directly or within a mix.
The output 3 of the daw needs to be routed by mix control to the physical output 3..
