I seem to be having some difficulty here.
I RTFM :D and it appears so simple right? FW #2 into #1, FW #1 into my computer, thus the daisy chain. Now I have to sync #2 to #1, so I S/PDIF my fireworx into #1 making it the clock, and S/PDIF #1 out into #2, which should clock #2 to #1 yes? Inside my DAW the master clock is set to S/PDIF so everything should be hunky-dory? Well #2 is blinking out of sync at me and garbling everything.

I'm asking MOTU tech support, but they've historically taken 2-3 days to respond to my queries. Would you please help me?

I plan on getting extra short cables to hook everybody up properly. The FW cable daisy chaining the boys together is about 20 ft long anyway. I only chose to try to sync via S/PDIF because I have plenty of digital cables laying around, I dont have any wordclock or ADAT cables on hand, but I plan to shortly.
