We're going to merge all the product forums into one and turn this forum into something new. I have been networking around town and there are some serious minds out there that just might come on board. We need to start disussing the depts of DAW's and what's coming down the pipe lol

Any suggestions on new ideas, feel free to let us know here!

Cheers.

P.S.

The is very awkward for me...I'm not sure how we will place the Mods that have been with us, your opinions are welcome. I want you all to know how much I personally appreciated your loyal support, it just seems to me that these forums are best left on the companies sites.

Chris
This makes absolute sense...it's what I said a long time ago.
Having a combined forum will be cool..however there should be "some" degree of seperation of course...how to do that..is another question..
I wish I could be more involved but it's hard when the motivation factor has been crushed from the daily grind at work...brain is mush lately and I can't get into it..hope you understand(which I'm sure you do! :D

Okay all, it's about to happen.

Say goodbye to the individual products, we are going to merge them into one forum tonight. Please speak now or forever hold your peace.

I would like to thank all moderators for there fantastic help in this project, without your help RO/DAWworld would not have been here. Hopefully we are moving in the right direction and DAWworld will take a new and positive blast into the world it belongs

Cheers!

yeah i have to agree with opus; i found that the best program to ever switch to is nuendo especially if you aren't fond of cakewalk. i am a loyal user of cakewalk, been using their products since v4 including metro which i hate ha ha, but anyways... i've been using sonar for a while now and still use it as my main program for its ease of use but there are just some things you can't do in it like in neundo. mainly, 5.1!!! plus all the studios i've gone to mostly use steinberg products or ProTools. the only main reason why i haven't switched to nuendo as my main is because i am so used to sonar and can work with it faster. i actually found that i am more productive with it but then again it could also be because i use it so much more than nuendo.
