I'm thinking about geting a professional soundcard for recording and producing. I orginaly wanted one that had a midi interface but having trouble finding one with a budget of 250nz which is appox 100us it looks like i will hav to use a usb converter for midi but i herd they are a bit delayed. Could anyone help me out with the right card for me ?
planing on recording guitars and keybaord and thinking about geting a mixer (just to help you guys get an idea of what card is best for me also going to be using Cubase )

Can't help in the 100(US) category, just a reminder that your sound card, if you are at all serious about sound, is THE most important part of your system! If you compromise here, you cannot "make it up" somewhere else.
At least investigate the LynxOne(And other Lynx Offerings, as well as those of RME). By doing so, even if out of your budget, you'll have an excellent "guide" to what you'd like your $100 card to try to do.
