Hey, Opus - cool beans, man - One change I might mention, that some readers may want to do: If your machine is susceptible to busy fingers when you're not there to stop it, you may wish for a pass-word protected screen saver, but not want the glitches that come from windows always peeking to see if you moved the mouse, touched the keyboard, scratched yer ass, etc... Here's how to have yer kake and eat it too:

First, enable the screen saver of your choice. Enable password, choose a password, verify it, make sure it works, etc.

Second, open Explorer, click on C:, and search for files named *.scr - locate the screen saver you set up. Right click/drag the file to the desktop, choose "shortcut" - you'll get an icon for that screensaver on your desktop. Doubleclick on the icon, to make sure it works. You should have to enter your password to get out of the screensaver.

Now, go back and select "none" for the screensaver, as you normally would for an audio machine. (Do NOT disable the password.) This way, the machine thinks there is no screensaver, so no glitches from mouse/watching - BUT, when you want to temporarily lock the machine, you just double-click the icon on the desktop, and Voila! instant screensaver WITH PASSWORD - I have been doing this for a couple of years now, and it's perfect for my use - If I have to leave the room with people in it, a simple click and nobody short of a 10-year old hacker messes with stuff.

I haven't tried this with XP yet, but see no reason why it wouldn't work the same... Steve

Cool Steve...but I dont do screensavers at all..I guess I dont need to protect my system from any kids or clients of that nature so it's cool!
I couldnt believe the way my system was flying around last night man!! Those tweaks are some good stuff!!!
Just wait till I add the other tweaks! I'm still not done with it yet!

Oh believe me..I think I saw every tweak site possible!! This doc I wrote is a compilation of all the tweaks out there! All bundled into a nice package so you dont have to go to so many different sites to find them all!
I did use a couple of tweaks I found on the MusicXP site tho
As I said..couple more tweaks to add in and I'm done!! I'll let ya'll know when it's done!
