:( Are there any effects that are usually used in the mixing process for trumpets or any pro tricks that anyone knows about trumpet recording, mixing, compression, or effects?
I see you have posted several extremely vague questions regarding tips on mixing of specific instruments and what type of equipment you should be getting. Let me suggest to you right now that there is no "standard procedure" for a lot of the things you are asking about. There are many ways to approach mixing, and even more ways to do tracking. Most importantly, we don't even know what type of music it is, what the song sounds like, how well your horns/timbales/etc. were recorded in the first place, and what equipment you own to do it with. If you are having difficulty with a particular part of the mixing process, or maybe with your entire approach, then all these different posts probably won't help you all that much. It might be quicker to first read through the archives of everybody's previously posted tips to see if there's already an answer to some of your questions, and then describe the types of problems you are having with your mixes. Don't forget to list what equipment you're using!
