I just bought a PreSonus firestudio project interface and and at4050 condensor mic. I am running Logic, when I record through the mic I am not getting enough volume, or strong enough signal I should say. I am planning on buying a separate preamp to help boost the mic but the interface has preamps built in that should give enough boost to record, right?
Don't really know why the signal is so weak, any troubleshooting tips?

The 4050 requires phantom power. Also, it is a side address micr
The 4050 requires phantom power. Also, it is a side address microphone. Make sure the correct side of the mic is pointed towards the sound source.
